touched by fire

This collection is an archive of lives on walls that we have gathered during our travels and made permanent in our scarves. Beauty is to be found around every corner, sometimes in places that are not beautiful at all. Each scarf presents a variation on this beauty: the accumulation of anonymous writings, the spontaneous expression of love, the layering of printed materials, the signs that people leave on the surfaces that frame the city streets. For this range we chose micromodal, silk and linen except for one item which is based on a powerful sentence written on what is left of the Berlin wall. The writing says “we will not forget you” and the scarf documenting it is produced in silk chiffon.
