For the most part, the collection was based on water colours produced by Simon during a stay in Ortigia, Siracusa (Sicily). Working under the scorching sun by the sea, Simon looked back at his travels around the Mediterranean Sea and conjured up the forms and colours that characterise its cities with their mixture of cultural sophistication and the gritty presence of people from all walks of life.  All scarves were made out of a combination of micromodal and cashmere which makes them warm in winter and fresh in summer.
